My Story

My work is about supporting women to reach their full professional potential and fostering gender-balanced leadership.

Key in this is understanding internalized oppression and addressing it effectively.

What’s different about my thought partnership and consulting is the empathy I can provide given the combination of three perspectives I bring – training as a social psychologist focused on consultation and change, experience leading Talent and Diversity functions/consulting to senior execs and hearing what they say about talent decisions behind closed doors, and managing my own career inside large corporates (in logistics, aerospace and banking) for 25+ years, and what that felt like.

I’ve both observed and felt the spectrum of women's experiences at work that go all the way from vulnerable to powerful and ashamed to proud. And all the things in between.

My unique point of differentiation is that having been there, I get it, and can hold the space with fierce love for my clients to move through self-awareness and growth with tremendous dignity.

I’ve seen how the patterns that don’t serve us well play out and figured out how to help my clients interrupt them.

I have found that so many of our experiences are way more universal than I ever realized: the feelings we have, how we digest the messages we’ve gotten, and how we navigate in spaces that were not built for us.

Because it all resonates deeply, I can be a stand for my clients - emotionally as well as strategically. 

Meaning that they are safely held through all the layers of our work together -- reframing how they see their world of work, showing up with authorized leadership presence, and taking the actions that position them as trustworthy next level leaders.
