Get Instant Access - $97In 2 hours, you’ll build the first draft of your Catbird Seat View: a practical read of your organization’s business pressures, leadership priorities, stakeholder dynamics, and advancement signals — so you can stop relying on effort alone and start moving with sharper strategic awareness.
The work that moves careers forward is not always the most visible work.
And promotion decisions rarely begin in the promotion meeting.
They begin earlier.
In how leaders interpret what's happening in the business.
In what they are trying to protect.
In which problems feel urgent.
In which people they trust to understand the bigger picture.
In which contributions seem connected to what the business actually needs next.
You may already be delivering at a high level.
You may be known as smart, capable, reliable, and technically excellent.
And still, there may be moments when you can feel the real decision-making current forming slightly outside your line of sight.
A senior leader asks for something “simpler.”
A stakeholder does not seem to understand the significance of your recommendation.
The work is strong, but the traction is uneven.
Someone else gets pulled into the higher-level conversation earlier.
You explain the logic again — because the logic is sound.
But the issue is not always the logic.
At the Maverick Inflection Point, the issue is often translation.
You are speaking from the expert domain.
They are listening from the business-risk, priority, trust, and alignment domain.
The Catbird Seat View helps you make that shift.
This is where technical excellence becomes strategically legible
Inside complex organizations, leaders are constantly interpreting:
- What matters now
- What carries risk
- What deserves attention
- What deserves funding
- Who understands the bigger picture
Who can be trusted closer to the decision - Who is ready to operate beyond execution
Your Catbird Seat View helps you read that environment more clearly.
Not so you can become political in a performative way.
So your work and your words can become more dialed in.
More relevant.
More trusted.
More fluent in the context your leaders are already using to make decisions.
Because once you understand what the business is organizing around, you can connect your work to the outcomes leaders already care about.
That's how your expertise starts landing differently.
What We’ll Build Together
Â
This is a working session, not a passive webinar.
You will use your own company, role, observations, and organizational context to begin building your first-draft Catbird Seat View.
Together, we’ll map:
- What the business is organizing around right now
- Where pressure, urgency, and risk appear to be sitting
- How leadership priorities are shaping opportunity and exposure
- Where decisions begin forming before they become visible
- What your organization says it values versus what behavior actually gets rewarded
- Which stakeholders most influence your career trajectory
- What those stakeholders may be listening for
- How your work can be positioned so it lands as business-relevant, not merely technically strong
- What to observe, question, and validate moving forward
The goal is not to create a perfect report, it's to give you a new operating lens.
It’s like putting subtitles on your organizational life: the same meetings, the same stakeholders, the same leadership dynamics — but now you can read the pressures, priorities, and interpretations moving underneath the conversation.
Why This Is Different
Â
Most career advice focuses on the individual:
- Your confidence
- Your communication
- Your visibility
- Your performance
- Your personal brand
Those things absolutely matter, but they're incomplete without the system around you.
At senior levels, excellent work has to be interpreted correctly, and interpretation happens inside a business context.
A recommendation that sounds brilliant to another expert may sound too detailed, too risky, too slow, too narrow, or too disconnected to a leader carrying a different set of pressures.
That does not mean your work is wrong -- tt means the translation layer matters.
In the live session, one participant described being moved into a B2B commercial environment where she was speaking technically while senior leaders were speaking business. The work was high quality, but it was not resonating because the leaders were filtering for speed, feasibility, commercial pressure, and business movement. That is exactly the kind of moment the Catbird Seat View is designed to help you decode.
What Changes
This working session helps you move from:
“I know the right answer.”
to:
“I understand what this leader is solving for, what pressure they’re under, what risk they’re managing, and how to connect my expertise to the outcome they care about.”
From:
“I need to be more visible.”
to:
“I need to understand where leverage lives, whose interpretation matters, and how trust is actually forming.”
From:
“I need to explain it better.”
to:
“I need to translate it into the business frame they are already using.”
From:
“I hope my work speaks for itself.”
to:
“I can help the right people understand why this work matters now.”Â
What You’ll Leave With
Â
By the end of this working session, you will have:
- A first-draft Catbird Seat View of your organization
- A clearer read on the business pressures shaping leadership attention
- A stronger understanding of how your work may be getting interpreted
- A practical map of what to observe, question, and validate next
- A sharper lens on your key stakeholders and what they may be listening for
- A better sense of where your effort is most likely to translate into strategic impact
- A way to use AI thoughtfully without outsourcing your own judgment
- A new language for connecting technical contribution to business relevance
Most importantly:
You will begin seeing your organization differently.
And once you see it, you can work inside it much more effectively.
Â
What’s Inside the Working Session
Part 1
Build the First Draft
We begin with what you already know.
Before using AI, public data, or outside research, you’ll map your own read of the organization:
- What you’ve been noticing
- Where pressure seems to be sitting
- What leaders appear to be reacting to
- Where priorities may be shifting
- Which decisions seem to be forming early
- What your company says matters
- What behavior actually appears to get rewarded
This matters because AI can sound authoritative even when it is incomplete.
Your lived read of the organization is essential data.
Â
Part 2
Expand the View
Next, you’ll use strategic prompts to expand your Catbird Seat View.
You’ll look at:
- External market pressures
- Industry-level trends
- Company fundamentals
- Leadership messaging
- Competitor movement
- Business priorities
- Organizational dynamics
- Stakeholder concerns
This is where the picture will start to really sharpen.
You begin to see why certain issues are getting attention, why some recommendations land, why certain stakeholders behave the way they do, and why some work carries more strategic weight than other work.
Â
Part 3Â
Pressure Test the Read
What should you question, observe, and validate in real time?
Your Catbird Seat View is not meant to become a static document.
It is a working read.
So we’ll look at how to validate it respectfully inside the flow of work.
You’ll identify:
- What appears accurate
- What may be incomplete
- What may be wrong
- What to observe in meetings
- What questions to ask trusted “organization whisperers”
- How to test your read without sounding performative or political
- How to keep the view current as leadership priorities shift
Here the process becomes immediately useful.
You are not just gathering information.
You are learning how to read the system.Â
Part 4Â
The Five Alignments
Connect It to Strategic Career Navigation
Finally, we connect the Catbird Seat View to the larger career-navigation system.
You’ll see how business context shapes:
- Your current-role alignment
- Your next-level readiness
- Your stakeholder relationships
- Your visibility strategy
- Your advocacy environment
- Your executive narrative
- Your weekly career-management habits
Because the Catbird Seat View is not separate from your advancement, it informs how you move.

- Are moving into more complex stakeholder environments

Who This is Not ForÂ
This is not the right fit if:
- You want generic career advice
- You are looking for motivational content without deeper analysis
- You prefer simplified formulas over nuanced organizational reality
- You are very early in your career and still building foundational capability
- You want visibility tactics without understanding the business context underneath them
- You want AI to tell you what is true without testing it against real organizational behavior
Why I Created This
Â
I created the Catbird Seat View because I kept seeing the same pattern.
Smart, high-achieving women were doing excellent work.
But the work was not always being interpreted at the level they intended.
Not because they lacked capability.
Because they were often operating from the expert seat while the organization was evaluating trust, risk, business judgment, stakeholder alignment, and future leadership capacity.
My work is grounded in 20+ years inside Fortune 100 Talent, Leadership Development, DEI, and organizational environments, including work with senior leaders on talent evaluation, succession dynamics, advancement systems, and leadership readiness.
I have seen how careers move inside organizations -- not just through performance, but through interpretation, advocacy, and business relevance.
Through the ability to understand what leaders are actually solving for and communicate work in that frame.
The Catbird Seat View gives you a practical way to do that.
