Why I Built the Executive Lens

I spent more than 25 years working inside and alongside Fortune 100 talent and organizational-development environments, including conversations where people’s readiness, judgment, reputation, contribution, and future potential were being interpreted.

I repeatedly saw highly capable women who understood their disciplines deeply but had never been taught how to read the larger business and organizational context surrounding their work.

They were often trying to respond by working harder, explaining more, or waiting for clearer feedback.

Meanwhile, decisions about priorities, investment, risk, and readiness were being shaped through a much broader view.

These women did not need to become less technical or less themselves.

They needed a clearer view of the business context shaping how leaders interpreted their work and contribution.
