Live Working Session - 3 hours Over 4 Days
Build Your Catbird Seat View
The Work That Moves Careers Forward Is Not Always the Most Visible Work.
And Promotion Decisions Rarely Begin in the Promotion Meeting.
Join the Live BuildYou’ve probably noticed this already.
Two people contribute at a similar level.
One gets pulled into higher-level conversations early. The other stays adjacent to them.
Or this:
You’re in a meeting. The work is strong and your thinking is solid.
But you can feel that the real direction is forming slightly outside your line of sight.
Not because you’re incapable or underperforming.
But because inside organizations, decisions are shaped by pressures, priorities, trade-offs, interpretations, and stakeholder dynamics that are often invisible unless you know how to read them.
Most people try to solve this by increasing effort -- More output, responsiveness, contribution.
But at senior levels, trajectory is heavily influenced by something else:
How leadership is interpreting:
- The business
- Risk
- Priorities
- Talent
- And where future value will come from
That’s what this working session is designed to help you see.
It's designed to make strategic career navigation less opaque, less political, and far more understandable in practice.
What We’ll Build Together
Â
Across four live sessions, you will begin constructing a first-draft Catbird Seat View of your organization:
- What the business is actually organizing around right now
- Where pressure and urgency are sitting
- How decisions begin forming before they become visible
- Which work carries strategic weight in the current environment
- How leadership priorities shape opportunity, exposure, and advancement
- Why some contributions gain traction quickly while others remain peripheral
- How this affects the four alignments shaping career trajectory
This is not theoretical.
You’ll work in real time using your own company, role, and observations.
No extra preparation.
No generic frameworks disconnected from reality.
We’re building this live together.Â
Why This Is Different
Most career guidance focuses on the individual:
- - Your confidence
- - Your communication
- Â - Your visibility
- Â - Your performance
Those things absolutely count.Â
But they are incomplete without understanding the system around you.
My work comes from 20+ years leading inside Fortune 100 talent, leadership, and DEI environments observing:
- - How leaders evaluate talent
- - How succession conversations unfold
- - How organizational priorities shift
- - How advancement decisions actually take shape
- - And why strong performers are sometimes interpreted very differently inside the same system
This session helps you develop a clearer read on the environment your career is moving through.
Because once you can see the system more clearly, you stop navigating blindly inside it.
What You’ll Leave With
By the end of the four days, you’ll have:
- A first-draft Catbird Seat View of your organization
- Greater clarity on what leadership is actually reacting to right now
- A better understanding of how decisions are getting shaped around you
- A stronger lens for interpreting patterns you may already be noticing
- A clearer sense of where to focus your effort for strategic impact
And most importantly:
You’ll begin seeing your organization differently.Â
Who This is ForÂ
Women in STEM and Finance who:
- Are already delivering at a high level
- Are trusted with meaningful work
- Sense there are larger dynamics shaping opportunity around them
- Want to understand how advancement decisions actually form
- Are ready to move more strategically inside complex organizations
Who This is Not For
This is probably not the right fit if:
- You’re looking for generic career advice or motivational content
- You want surface-level tactics without understanding the underlying system
- You’re very early in your career and still building foundational capability
- You prefer simplified formulas over nuanced organizational realities
Session Structure
Day 1
Build the First Draft
What do you already know about the system around you?
We’ll begin building your Catbird Seat View by extracting:
- What you already see
- What you’ve been noticing
- Where pressure appears to be sitting
- How priorities may be shifting
- Where decisions seem to be forming
You’ll map your current read of the business, leadership priorities, stakeholder dynamics, and organizational patterns.
We’ll also begin connecting how Catbird Seat influences the five alignments shaping career trajectory.
Day 2
Expand the View
Run the prompts. Surface the missing context.
On Day 2, we’ll work through strategic prompts designed to help you:
- Identify gaps in your current read
- Surface hidden business pressures
- Clarify leadership concerns
- Better understand how work is being interpreted
-Â Identify where opportunity and risk may actually sit
The picture will start becoming much clearer.
Day 3Â
Pressure Test the Read
What should you question, observe, and validate in real time?
We’ll focus on:
- What signals to watch closely
-Â What questions to ask appropriately
-Â How to interpret organizational behavior
-Â How to distinguish narrative from reality
-Â How to validate whether your read of the system is actually accurate
You’ll leave with a clearer sense of what to observe moving forward and how to refine your Catbird Seat View over time.
Day 4Â
The Five Alignments
How the Catbird Seat View shapes career trajectory
On the final day, we’ll connect your Catbird Seat View to the five alignments that influence how careers move inside organizations.
We’ll look at how organizational context affects:
- Where effort translates
-Â How trust forms
-Â How visibility develops
-Â How talent gets interpreted
-Â And why some people gain strategic momentum while others remain adjacent to it
This takes your work from:
I understand the system better
to:
I understand how to move differently inside it.

Build a Clearer Read of the Business Around You. In Real TimeAbout Christina DelliSanti-Miller
I work with maverick women in STEM and Finance who are already delivering at a high level and want to strengthen how they navigate complex organizational systems.
Earlier in my career, I:
- Led Talent Management, DEI and Leadership Development inside Fortune 100 organizations
- Built advancement systems inside complex corporate environments
- Worked closely with senior leaders on talent evaluation and succession dynamics
- Founded a non-profit that achieved an 89% (vs. baseline 4%) success rate helping women enter Investment Banking and Technology careers
This work is grounded in how advancement decisions actually happen inside organizations -- through business priorities, leadership conversations, organizational trade-offs, and talent interpretation.
It's not generic career advice or personal branding theory.
Instead, we'll look at the real mechanics underneath senior-level trajectory.
