Your Career Mapping Brief - Career Direction [1 of 3]

Your career, as it stands today. We’ll use this three-part brief to begin building a 90-day career strategy grounded in your real work, relationships, and organizational environment.

This brief gives me the context I need to begin seeing the system around your career before we meet: the direction you may want to create, the work and business around you, the people who can affect what happens next, and the signals already moving between you and the organization.

You do not need to arrive with a perfectly defined objective or a polished interpretation of what is happening. Uncertainty, contradictions, partial information, and the thing you cannot quite make sense of are all useful.

Give me the real picture. We will do the diagnosis and strategic thinking together.

The brief is divided into three separate parts. Each part is saved when you submit it. You may complete all three now or space them out a bit.

Please allow approximately 45–60 minutes for the complete brief and 15–20 minutes for this first part. Feel free to answer in bullets wherever that is easier.

Your responses allow us to begin our first session with the career in front of you, rather than spending our time reconstructing your biography.

A note about confidentiality: I will treat your responses as confidential and use them only to prepare for and deliver your private engagement. Please do not include trade secrets, legally privileged information, client-identifying information, or proprietary data your employer would not authorize you to share. Use job titles or initials instead of names when you prefer. Your responses will be used to prepare for and deliver your private engagement.

This brief is divided into three parts so your work is saved as you go. Each part must be submitted separately. You can complete the next part immediately or return using the link we email you.
