Strategic Practices Breakthrough exercise

Before we get into looking at the degree to which your work practices serve to support your career progress, consider whether a bit of mindset work might be in order.

If you feel a dramatic urge for chocolates coming on (or dizziness, a spending spree, a deep clean of your space, etc.) when you think about examining your career building habits, you might have some avoidance building up around the topic.

It would probably make sense to clear out, or at least notice and acknowledge any exhaustion, frustration, or aggravation that might have you want to avoid the conversation altogether.

Let me help you.

Notice for each of the eight strategic career practices which ones give you the most pause. And about which ones you're most enthusiastic.

Then record without judgement your thoughts, feelings, or any physical sensations that come up as you contemplate implementing these techniques.
